Who Are the Agape Singers?

We are a non-denominational, contemporary Christian singing group of students in grades 9-12 from high schools in the Dawson, MN area. We share our worship services in many churches each year. These opportunities are offered to churches in the local area as well as churches in several other states on our annual summer tours. In addition to the worship services that we provide in churches, we also present special programs ministering to people in nursing homes and have shared our worship service at the Oklahoma City National Memorial site and The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. By reaching out to share the message of God's love through spoken word and song, we have traveled nation-wide.

The message of our group lies in the name. Agape is one of the Greek words for love - the complete and self-sacrificing love that God has for his children. We hope to touch hearts with the belief that life is made whole through the acceptance and sharing of Agape love. This group is out to share the gospel message because we believe in serving the Lord Jesus Christ through our fellowship and song.
